Check-in at Cooper Motel felt welcoming. The innkeepers were gracious despite our very late arrival, and they allowed us to stay past checkout for some much-needed rest. The room was clean and had a flat-screen TV, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the musty smell in the room was noticeable at first, but cranking up the AC helped a lot. However, the room felt cramped, and the shower drainage was slow, which was frustrating. Although updates were visible, the comfort level could use some work, especially with the heating unit allowing cold air in all night. The stay served its purpose on a budget, but a few tweaks would enhance the experience further.
